This traditional and successful building contractor had more than 38 years trading history. The directors were passionate about their sector and had worked tirelessly to create a business capable of satisfying even the most discerning client.
This was arguably one of the most successful businesses of its type as there was no shortage of work and the company had been invited to be involved in many of the region’s more prestigious building contracts. Its installed base was second to none and referrals had been gained from hundreds of completed projects.
Operating from purpose built premises, the owners had strong relationships with local architects and were often involved in contracts worth over £500,000. The company also benefited from an employed, rather than sub contracted, workforce which included a variety of craftsmen capable of undertaking all types of projects to the highest standard.
Business Partnership approached all the regional builders of note and several of the major nationals, eventually selling to a local buyer who had started his career in the construction industry as a carpenter before moving into project management. He bought the business with an Italian friend who had run a construction business in his home country.
