The business, which started trading in 1985, operated for more than 30 years from commercial premises and showrooms in the Home Counties, earning an excellent reputation for its design, manufacture and installation of complex exhibition stands across the UK, Europe and Asia.
The company’s client base was a ‘who’s who’ of international companies including Thales, BOC, Listerine, Eurostar and Proctor and Gamble.
Having previously retired, the chairman and major shareholder was drawn back to the business. He had unsuccessfully tried to sell the business privately but after Business Partnership was instructed to secure a buyer we soon received substantial interest and several serious offers.
Within six months of instruction, 100 per cent of the issued share capital was sold to a growing exhibition group based in South Wales. The local management team was retained and our client was finally able to retire.
